Director Information

Directors’ attendance at Board and Committee meetings
The number of meetings held in the period and the number of meetings attended by each Director is set out below. Eight board meetings were held during the year. In addition, Directors have responsibility for attending nominated committee meetings. Individual membership of a committee is denoted through applicable attendance.
Please note at this time the Board is making investment decisions on behalf of the Investment Committee. As such, there was no separate Investment Committee in 2014-15.
Director remuneration
The Directors of Media Super are remunerated for the work they do as Directors, although in some cases the payment is made to the nominating sponsoring organisation in compensation for the time and costs associated with the involvement by the Director in the management of the Fund. Directors receive a base rate of $40,131 (including super if it is paid to the individual) per year ($66,885 including super for the Chair).
